Four years after a landmark day in the club's history, Kahawa Pride FC returns to the Nyayo National Stadium for another special occasion, one that celebrates both the club's journey and the beginning of a new one.

On Tuesday, 28 July at 3:00 p.m., Kahawa Pride FC will face Kakuma Pride FC in a historic friendly match at Kenya's iconic football venue. The fixture will also be streamed live on JerseyBirds's club's YouTube channel, giving supporters across Kenya and beyond the opportunity to be part of the occasion.

The match carries special significance for the Pride family.

In 2022, Nyayo National Stadium hosted Kahawa Pride FC's first-ever match following the club's rebrand from Kahawa Sportive Soccer Academy. That memorable occasion saw the newly named club take on FKF Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks, marking the beginning of a new era built on ambition, professionalism and community impact.

Since then, Kahawa Pride has continued to grow both on and off the pitch.

The club has established itself as one of the leading sides in the FKF Nairobi East Regional League, expanded its player development pathway through the Cubs and Mapogo youth structures, launched the Road to the Premier League documentary series, and attracted major commercial partners while remaining committed to developing talent and serving the community.

Now, four years later, the club returns to the same stadium to celebrate another milestone, the formation of Kakuma Pride FC.
